It's not something we said to one another,
but something we just knew
Underneath the kerosene
A river ran through
The opposites
Both heaven and hell
We're gushing
like shivers down his spine
A curse, my raft did not pull itself down
towards your secret shell
Where softness touches ends that do not mend themselves
I look inside your wounds
They suffer from a hardened existence
That recoil from a love unknown
We search one another for answers
But the question still remains
As I turn away
And leave you in nowhere
